The Political Science and Public Administration PhD Program at Istanbul Gedik University provides students with advanced theoretical knowledge and skills in their field, develops their ability to conduct independent research and lead research teams, and enables them to contribute to science both domestically and internationally. Therefore, our objectives include providing our students with rich course content that enables them to identify, define, collect data, analyze, and interpret social, economic, and political problems, as well as apply appropriate scientific methods specific to these objectives. This program is open to anyone who holds a master's degree or has received equivalent education abroad and is aware of the necessity of lifelong learning.
Our graduates work in various fields such as public administration, diplomacy, and various positions in the public and private sectors, including expertise, inspection, management, and academia.
Political Science and Public Administration Special Application Requires
There are no restrictions on the field of graduation for applicants to our program; however, if deemed necessary by the Department Chair, applicants may be required to complete a scientific preparation program.
