Our Business Administration (MBA for Business Professionals) Non-Thesis Master's Program is designed for individuals who are currently active in the business world as managers or employees. The program supports the development of independent and original scientific research skills with its content that is constantly updated with the latest developments. Graduates of the program gain the theoretical and practical foundation necessary to pursue managerial positions in both private and public institutions and organizations.
With globalization and technological developments, the professional business management competencies required by the ever-changing business environment are constantly changing and being updated. Understanding the technological, socio-economic, and political processes and transformation dynamics that businesses are undergoing, as well as capturing innovations, is undoubtedly crucial for ensuring the effective output of business functions and businesses as a whole. Therefore, our program aims to meet the diverse career needs of students who will work as managers and entrepreneurs in the private sector, public institutions, and NGOs through a curriculum and content that focuses on theory and practice related to emerging management competencies.
Graduates from all undergraduate programs are eligible to apply to our program. Our program produces graduates who generate innovative and creative ideas, are knowledgeable about management systems and practices used in businesses, and plan professional development activities by taking responsibility for professional activities and projects in their field. Our graduates work in managerial positions in areas such as marketing, finance, and accounting in businesses.
Program Structure
The Business Administration Turkish/Non-Thesis Master's Program consists of 10 courses and a term project totaling 30 credits. The term project is not credited and is graded as pass or fail. The duration of the non-thesis master's program is a minimum of two and a maximum of three semesters. The duration does not include the scientific preparation program. Semesters in which the student is not enrolled are included in the maximum duration.
MBA in Business Administration for Business Professionals Special Application Requires
As stipulated in Article 5 of the Istanbul Gedik University Graduate Education and Teaching Regulations, applicants must have obtained a bachelor's degree or an equivalent degree from a higher education institution.
