Program Description

The Occupational Health and Safety Thesis-Based Master's Program aims to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to address occupational health and safety issues, including international best practices.

Our students are equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to minimize workplace accidents and occupational diseases in the organizations where they will work. Unlike similar programs, courses are taught by faculty members who have field experience, hold at least a doctoral degree, and are experts in their fields. Faculty members hold a certificate in occupational safety expertise or occupational health and safety expertise. Our students prepare for doctoral programs through their academic work and publications, and our program adopts a student-centered, industry-focused, and interdisciplinary education model.

Graduates of the Occupational Health and Safety thesis-based master's program are eligible to take the Class B Occupational Safety Expert exam directly and work as occupational safety experts in hazardous and less hazardous public and private sector workplaces.
