The aim of the Master's Program in Political Science and International Relations (English) at Istanbul Gedik University is to provide our students with knowledge and skills in their field, enable them to conduct scientific research individually or as part of a group, and equip them with the ability to access, evaluate, and interpret information.
With this program, students who wish to advance their academic education to the master's level will be able to specialize in specific areas by selecting different elective courses according to their interests and the sectors they wish to work in. At the end of the program, they will reinforce their knowledge and experience by writing a Master's Thesis and develop their ability to synthesize theory and practice.
Our graduates will be able to find various job opportunities in international organizations, non-governmental organizations, public institutions, national and international companies, and academia, thanks to both the knowledge they have gained in the field of Political Science and International Relations and their advanced proficiency in English.
Political Science and International Relations (English) Special Application Requires
There are no restrictions on the field of graduation for applicants to our program; however, if deemed necessary by the Department Chair, applicants may be required to complete a scientific preparation program.

Notarized copy of bachelor's degree or graduation certificate obtained from e-Government
Original or notarized copy of bachelor's transcript (documents obtained from e-Government are accepted)
ALES exam result (including the Result Verification Code, covering the last 5 years as of the registration date, with a score of 55 or above in the relevant score type.)
Original and copy of the ID card
For male applicants: a recent Military Service Status Certificate (documents obtained from e-Government are accepted.)
