Program Description

Artificial Intelligence Engineering develops engineering applications that mimic human behavior and intelligence using machine learning algorithms and deep learning methods. In today's world, where we are living in the age of technology and information and the importance of digitalization is greatly felt, there is a great need for highly skilled artificial intelligence engineers.

The vision of our Master's Program in Artificial Intelligence Engineering is to provide individuals with the necessary knowledge to conduct technological research, thereby training qualified field personnel both domestically and internationally, as well as contributing to the training of high-level artificial intelligence engineers who can meet academic needs and lead future research efforts. Our students acquire knowledge and skills in advanced machine learning algorithms, data mining, big data analysis, statistics, information management and security, and various software programs.

Our graduates are particularly sought after in the defense industry, health institutions or organizations, state banks and private banks, various ministries and their affiliated units, the retail sector, the transportation sector, the aviation sector and its ground services, the maritime sector, oil and natural gas research and drilling activities, industrial robotics and intelligent resources, the defense industry, ionizing radiation inspection systems, pipeline transportation and intelligent systems, other transportation and logistics sectors; universities, the entire education sector, press organizations, multimedia, computer games, and website development organizations.

Program Structure

The Artificial Intelligence thesis-based master's program consists of a total of 21 credits, 7 courses, a seminar course, and a thesis study. The seminar course and thesis study are not credited and are graded as successful or unsuccessful. The duration of the thesis-based master's program is a minimum of four and a maximum of six semesters. The duration does not include the scientific preparation program. Semesters in which the student is not enrolled are included in the maximum duration.

 

Artificial Intelligence Engineering Special Application Requires

Applicants who have obtained a bachelor's degree in Artificial Intelligence Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Engineering, Management Information Systems, Electronic Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Mechatronics Engineering are eligible to apply. Applicants who have obtained a bachelor's degree in a different field may begin the program after completing a scientific preparation program.

Required documents for enrollment in thesis-based master's programs:

Notarized copy of bachelor's degree or graduation certificate obtained from e-Government

Original or notarized copy of bachelor's transcript (documents obtained from e-Government are accepted)

ALES exam result (including the Result Verification Code, covering the last 5 years as of the registration date, with a score of 55 or above in the relevant score type.)

Original and copy of the ID card

For male applicants: a recent Military Service Status Certificate (documents obtained from e-Government are accepted.)
