The aim of the Master's Program in Political Science and Public Administration at Istanbul Gedik University is to provide our students with knowledge and skills, enable them to conduct scientific research independently or as part of a team, and equip them with the ability to access, evaluate, and interpret information.
Students seeking to advance from the undergraduate level to the master's level can specialize in their field by selecting elective courses tailored to their areas of interest and desired career paths. Through the master's thesis they will write at the program's conclusion, they will learn to further develop their research.
Our graduates work in various fields such as public administration, diplomacy, and various positions in the public and private sectors, including expertise, inspection, management, and academia.
Political Science and Public Administration Special Application Requires
There are no restrictions on the field of graduation for applicants to our program; however, if deemed necessary by the Department Chair, applicants may be required to complete a scientific preparation program.

Required documents for enrollment in thesis-based master's programs:
Notarized copy of bachelor's degree or graduation certificate obtained from e-Government
Original or notarized copy of bachelor's transcript (documents obtained from e-Government are accepted)
ALES exam result (must include the Result Verification Code, cover the last 5 years as of the application date, and score 55 or above in the relevant score category)
Original ID card and a copy
For male applicants: a recent Military Service Status Certificate (documents obtained from e-Government are accepted)
